'The Generation' Will Be Filled With Violence, Immorality, Arrogance, Greed, Lying, and Deception . . .

Much information is given in the Bible concerning the 'character' of the generation who will drag the world into Armageddon.  Here, the Bible warns the generation of the coming "Apocalypse" will be characterized by violence and gross immorality . . .

Jesus warns, "But as the days of Noah were,

so also will the coming of the Son of Man be . . ."

        (Matt 24:37  NKJ)

Now, to help us understand this prophecy God describes the generation of Noah . . .

"The Earth was corrupt [with moral corruption] before God,

and the Earth was filled with violence.

        So God looked upon the Earth, and indeed it was corrupt;

for all flesh had corrupted their way on the Earth.

And God said to Noah, ‘The end of all flesh has come before Me,

        for the Earth is filled with violence through them;

and behold, I will destroy them with the Earth . . .’"

        (Gen 6:11-13)

The character of a generation is not only revealed by reading or watching the news reports of the terrible acts of violence and gross immorality we are now seeing around the world, it is also revealed by what entertains that generation ... movies, television shows, video games, internet sites, the100 most recent videos on the wall of your local video store ... take a close look at these to see what now entertains this generation . . .

And here, the Bible even provides a detailed profile, including a list of additional character traits to help identify 'the generation'  who will lead the world into the terrors and devastation of the coming "Apocalypse". . .

"But know this, that in the last days

perilous [savage, fierce] times will come,

for men will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money,

        boasters, proud,

        blasphemers [mocking God and Jesus],

        disobedient to parents,

        unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving,

        slanderers, without self-control, brutal [violent],

        despisers of good,

        traitors, headstrong, haughty [arrogant],

lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God,

having a form of godliness [professing a belief in "God"]

        but denying its power . . . "

        (2 Tim 3:1-5)

The Bible warns "in the last days" evil men (and women) "will grow worse and worse."  Lying and deception ("spin") will characterize the generation and the leaders who will pull the world down into the dark abyss and terrors of the coming "Apocalypse" . . .

"But know this, that in the last days perilous times will come . . .  [we are now in perilous times]

Evil men and impostors will grow worse and worse,

deceiving [speaking lies convincingly ... and easily]

and being deceived."   [Being deceived will ruin many lives ... and nations]

                 (2 Tim 3:1, 13)

Since many people believe they are getting away with these things now, they don’t believe they will be judged after they die.  However, the Bible is pretty clear when it says . . .

"And as it is appointed for men to die once,

         but after this the judgment"

         (Hebrews 9:27)

Have a hard time believing in God?  Just watch the news.  God says all the Bible prophecies we are now seeing being fulfilled are given both as a final warning sign to the world and as verifiable evidence and proof the Bible is true . . .

Please remember, the Kingdom of Heaven is available to every man, woman, boy, and girl in this world, no matter who they are, where they live, or what they have done.  It is freely offered to any and all who will receive it.  Simply learn of Jesus (Yeshua), the promised Messiah, invite Him into your life as Lord, believe He died on the Cross for all of your sins and rose from the grave (proving there is a Kingdom of Heaven ... and a Hell).  Learn of Him and believe in Him . . . for He was the only one who has ever loved you enough to substitute Himself for you on the Cross.  He shed His blood, suffered, and died on the Cross to save you from your sins and from the utter darkness and torment of Hell, if you will accept it, believe it, and trust in it.  That is why Jesus is called Savior.  He now lovingly and graciously offers you life in Heaven . . . and it is a "take it or leave it" proposition.  We have to consciously receive it and accept it in faith.  If you sincerely admit you have sinned (which means you will need a Savior to get into Heaven) and ask Jesus to come into your life and honestly try to stop doing (and saying) those things God says are wrong, you will go to Heaven ... and with open arms and tears of joy He will receive all who will come to Him in faith and in love ... It's God's Promise!!!

The only unpardonable sin is to reject God's love and His free offer of life in the Kingdom of Heaven by rejecting Jesus (Yeshua), the Messiah, who stepped forth from Heaven (as promised) ... not to condemn the sinner, but to save the sinner (from the torment of Hell) and who willingly and lovingly shed His blood on the Cross so we can be washed clean of all our sins.  The Bible warns there will be no peace in our lives until we make peace with God through His Son, Jesus (Yeshua), the promised Messiah.  The Bible also says there will be no peace in Israel or on Earth until Jesus (Yeshua), the Messiah returns . . .
