Who Founded, Edits, and Writes the Blogs for this site?
My name is Craig Crawford, and I will take the blame for that.
My “tent-making” (professional) background includes robotics, virtual/augmented reality, artificial intelligence, robotic vision, and three-dimensional video components (used with surgical robots, tele-medicine, unmanned vehicles, and even a NASA Mars Rover simulator).
The company which I founded and managed for around 20 years was caught up in the 2008 recession. We had just completed and signed an acquisition agreement (and received SEC approval) to be acquired by a company developing new Holographic display technologies which integrated some of our components into their designs when the financial “earthquake” hit.
The acquisition was negated because the 2008 Recession quickly “vaporized” all of the funding which their investment bankers had committed to our acquisition. Since we could not complete our next-generation design or launch our next production run without it, we soon ran out of inventory while waiting for the funds to arrive.
If the 2008 Recession could be compared to an “earthquake,” then the ensuing “tidal wave” struck about one and a half years later. This disastrous “tidal wave” wiped out everything our family had and owned …

I should also note that whenever somebody starts a new company they know there is a risk involved. So, I have nothing to complain about and everything to be thankful for.
My “watchman” (Bible study) background began around 30 years ago, when for the first time in my life I started taking the Bible seriously. Sometime later, my Bible studies led to some writing which soon led into the formation of Alpha News Daily (World News Headlines + Bible Prophecies).
The premise behind Alpha News Daily was the belief that God will not fulfill His prophecies in secret, but so the whole world can see.
I have been gathering world news headlines through Alpha News Daily for over 16 years now solely out of the desire to educate, warn, and prepare people around the world (the Ayatollah Khomeini even quoted from it during a speech to the Basij), and have not taken any remuneration up to this time.
As a note, if you simply published these past years of News Headlines archived at Alpha News Daily (and now here at www.TheProphecies.com) it would be the equivalent of a 10 Volume set of books with approximately 200 pages per volume.
A scientist (or Sherlock Holmes) would call this effort of cataloging world headlines, “Gathering data.”
With most of my career having been related to new and advanced technologies, I have a lot of respect for mathematics, trend lines, and scientific probabilities. We used to represent market forecasts visually through graphs, and there was one we called the “hockey stick curve” which starts out slowly and gradually and then suddenly starts to shoot upwards.
The reason for starting this www.TheProphecies.com site is because it appears over these past 24 months or so the amount of prophetically significant news pertaining to Israel, Russia, Iran, and many other important (and converging) Bible prophecies has started manifesting a powerful “hockey stick” curve.
You can now test and prove whether I am right or wrong in sounding this warning.
Since most people would agree that God would not (or will not) fulfill His prophecies in secret, but so the whole world could see, and with many significant events now taking place around the world, it seems as though it is a good (and reasonable) time to test these things by using whatever methods science, mathematics (and even good old common sense) can provide to objectively determine if the Generation alive today is prophetically significant, and if so, what the prophecies found in the Bible are also telling us about tomorrow’s headlines?
For the Bible warns … Our future is already history!
The objective for this web-site is to take Bible Prophecy out of the arena of public opinion by offering the skeptic, antagonistic, curious, and sympathetic (both Christian and non-Christian alike) the ability to challenge Bible Prophecy, while offering (and providing) each reader with the means to easily and objectively study and even test these things.
