WAITING

(AND ENDURING)

IN HOPE

“No eye has seen,
Nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into
The heart of Man
The things which God
Has prepared (in Heaven)
For those who love Him.”
(1 Corinthians 2:9)

The Bible IS A Love Story …

The Bible is a love story written upon a wooden Cross lifted high upon a lonely hill in Judea, many, many years ago.

Like any wonderful love story, the Bible has a happy ending.

A very, very happy ending … for all who will choose wisely.

Heaven is a place of beauty filled with gladness, happiness, love, and joy (with much laughter) … Forever and ever!!!

The Kingdom of Heaven has a Prince (King) who is now preparing a place in Heaven for His Betrothed (all believers) who will one day reign with Him, and will be chosen simply because of their love, faith, and trust in Him (even in the midst of great suffering) …

Although the Bible clearly warns the darkest days of Earth’s history are yet future, the Bible also promises the most peaceful and restful days of Earth’s history now lie ahead following these things.

We are promised a most incredible Age on Earth unlike anything the world has ever experienced since the days in the Garden of Eden, when Adam and Eve still walked with God.  Satan, (also called the “ruler of this world” and the “god of this Age”), now inflicts the world with violence, fear, anxieties, heartbreak, bondage (to addictions), sickness, and death.

Christ defeated Satan as He lovingly endured the suffering and death on the Cross, powerfully rose from the dead, and then ascended back into Heaven.  He will someday return to take possession of that which is His, while restoring the Earth to an innocence and beauty we can’t even imagine.

The Coming Day …

For we are told the Earth will be fully restored as in the days of the Garden of Eden.  The Holy Spirit also drops a few hints concerning some of the major changes which will be found on Earth during this time, as He provides a small peek into the future …

“For He (Jesus Christ) must reign (on Earth)
Till He has put all enemies under His feet.
The last enemy that will be destroyed
Is DEATH.”
(1 Corinthians 15:25-26)

Jesus will one day destroy death … for, it is His Enemy

He will swallow up death FOREVER,
And the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from all faces;”
(Isaiah 25:8)

“The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb,
The leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
The calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
And a little child shall lead them.
The cow and the bear shall graze;
Their young ones shall lie down together;
And the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The nursing child shall play by the cobra’s hole,
And the weaned child shall put his hand in the viper’s den.
They shall not hurt nor destroy in all My Holy mountain”
(Isaiah 11:6-9)

“Then the eyes of the blind shall be opened,
And the ears of the deaf shall be unstopped.
Then the lame shall leap like a deer.”
(Isaiah 35:5-7)

Our Blessed Hope

ALL the pain, the fears, the loneliness, the heartbreak, the sickness, the suffering, and the tears will be wiped away from all those who endure in faith, and eagerly await the return of our Lord.

Don’t feel embarrassed to fear, love, trust, or obey the Lord, for it pleases God, and someday you will see how lovingly He has blessed you by leading and carrying you through all the calamities, fears, anxieties, stress, troubles, afflictions, suffering, and pain which the Bible warns we will all experience during this short mess (and test) called life …

But, HOW do we receive such a great Promise and Gift??

Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ and you WILL be saved!!!”
(Acts 16:31)

Believe What??!!

  • That Jesus IS the “Son of God”
  • That He suffered and died on the Cross for ALL of our sins
  • That He was powerfully raised from the dead on the third day
  • That He is now seated on His Throne lovingly saving all who will believe

THEN, with outstretched arms and with tears of joy …

God will welcome us home where we will live “Happily ever after”FOREVER!!!

YET, here is the fearful Alternative which Jesus lovingly suffered and died to SAVE us from

“Hell, where their worm does not die, and the fire is not quenched.
There will be weeping and gnashing of the teeth.”
(Mark 9:48)
