Bible Prophecy

JESUS CHRIST

MESSIAH’S RETURN

“Behold,
He is coming with clouds,
and every eye will see Him,
even they who pierced Him.
And all the tribes of the Earth
will mourn because of Him.”
(Revelation 1:7)

The Bible tells us Jesus Christ, the promised Messiah, will return . . . TWICE!!

First, “As a thief in the night” . . . FOR those who waited in faith

Second, “Every eye shall see” . . . WITH those who waited in faith

We believe a minimum of 7 years will separate these two events.

All the prophecies of the Apocalypse (Tribulation) must be fulfilled before His return. We are told much will happen between the Rapture and Christ’s Return, including:

  • The US will be neutralized … Israel must stand alone  (This may happen before the Russia-Iran War against Israel)
  • 10 nations of the Roman Empire will rise sometime after Russia, Iran, and allies invade Israel
  • A leader will rise over these 10 nations  –  The Antichrist
  • This man will enforce a ‘Peace Plan’ on nation Israel
  • A religious leader will also rise with the Antichrist
  • An evil global one-world religious system will rise
  • Millions who turn to Christ will be executed
  • A new Jewish Temple will be built in Jerusalem
  • Antichrist will demand to be worshiped as ‘god’
  • The Tribulation will then last exactly 1,260 days
  • A Great War will ignite the world
  • Terror and death will fall from the heavens
  • Fire and destruction will engulf the Earth
  • The weapons will be used … cities will disappear
  • All living creatures in the oceans will die
  • Only a small remnant of people on Earth will survive
  • The final battle … Armageddon … ALL nations against Israel and Jerusalem

There will be no question it is Him

Jesus warns there will be false Prophets and messiahs who will rise from the population on Earth. However, Jesus says when He returns to rule there will be no question it is Him.

When He once again steps forth from Eternity every eye will see Him “coming in the clouds” with millions from Heaven, in power and in great glory …

“Then if anyone says to you,
Look, here is the Christ!’ or ‘There!’
Do NOT believe it.
For false christs and false prophets will arise
and show great signs and wonders (miracles)
so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
See, I have told you beforehand.” (Meaning – this is a prophecy)
“Therefore if they say to you,
‘Look, He is in the desert!’
Do not go out; or
‘Look, He is in the inner rooms!’
Do not believe it.
For as the lightning comes from the east and flashes to the west,
So also will the coming of the Son of Man be.”
(Matthew 24:23-27)

The Prophecies

His Promise … and Our Hope.

He has told us to wait for Him in faith.

He has told us to warn others.

Now, let us listen to the Holy Spirit as He prepares the Way …

“Behold!
He (Jesus Christ) is coming with clouds,
And
every eye will see Him,
Even they who pierced Him.
And all the tribes of the Earth
will mourn because of Him …”
(Revelation 1:7)

The One whom they have pierced …

“And I will pour on the house of David
and on the inhabitants of Jerusalem
the Spirit of grace and supplication;
then they will look on Me whom they have pierced;
they will mourn for Him
as one mourns for his only son,
and grieve for Him
as one grieves for a firstborn.”
(Zechariah 12:10)

He will gather all nations around Jerusalem for the final Battle …

Therefore wait for Me,” says the LORD,
Until the Day I rise up to plunder (attack the prey);
My determination is to gather the nations  (around Jerusalem)
to My assembly of kingdoms,
to pour on them My indignation,
all My fierce anger (during the Great Tribulation);
All the Earth shall be devoured with the fire of My jealousy.
For then I will restore to the peoples a pure language, (the first time since the Tower of Babel)
that they all may call on the Name of the LORD,
to serve Him with one accord.”
(Zephaniah 3:8-9)

He will return on the clouds of Heaven …

“Then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in Heaven,
and then all the tribes of the Earth will mourn,
and they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of Heaven
with power and great glory.”
(Matthew 24:30)

He will execute judgment on the ungodly …

“Now Enoch, the seventh from Adam, (the first person “raptured” in the Bible)
also prophesied about these men, saying,
‘Behold, the Lord comes with ten thousands (millions) of His saints,
to execute judgment on all,
to convict all who are ungodly among them
of all their ungodly deeds
which they have committed in an ungodly way,
and of all the harsh things
which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.’”
(Jude 1:14-15)

He will destroy many with a global hurricane of fire …

“For behold, the LORD will come with fire and with His chariots,
like a whirlwind (a global hurricane of fire),
to render His anger with fury,
and His rebuke with flames of fire.
For by fire and by His sword
the LORD will judge all flesh;
And the slain of the LORD shall be many.”
(Isaiah 66:15-16)

The Earth will be violently broken …

“The Earth is violently broken, (Earth will reel under the power of His return)
the Earth is split open,
the Earth is shaken exceedingly.
The Earth shall reel to and fro like a drunkard,
and shall totter like a hut;
its transgression shall be heavy upon it,
and it will fall, and not rise again.”
(Isaiah 24:19-20)

The Mount of Olives will split in two …

And in That Day
His feet will stand on the Mount of Olives,
which faces Jerusalem on the east.
And the Mount of Olives shall be split in two,
from east to west …
It shall come to pass in That Day
that there will be no light;
The lights will diminish.
It shall be one day
which is known to the LORD– neither day nor night.
But at evening (night) time
it shall happen that it will be light.” (Awesome!!!)
(Zechariah 14:4, 6, 7)

Jerusalem will be called “The Throne of God”

“At that time Jerusalem (the same Jerusalem you see on the news)
shall be called the Throne of the LORD,
and all the nations shall be gathered to it,
to the Name of the LORD,
to Jerusalem.

No more shall they follow the dictates of their evil hearts.”
(Jeremiah 3:17)

His will be an everlasting Kingdom …

“I was watching in the night visions, and behold,
One like the Son of Man, (Jesus)
Coming with the clouds of Heaven!
He came to the Ancient of Days,
and they brought Him near before Him.
Then to Him was given dominion
and glory and a Kingdom,
that all peoples, nations, and languages
should serve Him.
His dominion is an everlasting dominion,
which shall not pass away,
and
His Kingdom the one
which shall not be destroyed.”
(Daniel 7:13-14)

He will reign and be called the Son of the Highest …

“He will be great,
and will be called the Son of the Highest;
And the Lord God will give Him
the throne of His father David.
And He will reign over the house of Jacob forever,
and of His Kingdom there will be no end.”
(Luke 1:32-33)

He will end ALL war … FOREVER!

“Now it shall come to pass in the latter days …
He shall judge between the nations,
and rebuke many people;
They shall beat their swords into plowshares,
and their spears into pruning hooks;
nation shall not lift up sword against nation,
neither shall they learn war anymore.”
(Isaiah 2:2,4)

He who loved us and washed us from all our sins …

“From Jesus Christ, the faithful witness,
The firstborn from the dead, (speaking of His Resurrection)
and the Ruler over the kings of the Earth.
To Him who loved us
and washed us from our sins
in His own blood,
and has made us kings and priests
to His God and Father,
to Him be glory and dominion forever and ever. Amen.

Behold, He is coming with clouds,
And every eye will see Him,
even they who pierced Him. (not as a “thief in the night” this time)
And all the tribes of the Earth
will mourn because of Him.
Even so, Amen.”
(Revelation 1:5-7)

He will return with millions and millions of those who believed and waited in faith …

“And they sang a new song, saying:
‘You (Jesus) are worthy to take the Scroll,
and to open its seals;
For You were slain,
and have redeemed us to God
by Your blood
out of every tribe and tongue
and people and nation,
And have made us kings and priests to our God;
and we shall reign on the Earth.’ (This is for ALL who put their love and trust in Him)
Then I looked, and I heard
the voice of many angels around the throne,
the living creatures, and the elders;
And the number of them was ten thousand times ten thousand,
and thousands of thousands, (millions upon millions of faithful believers)
saying with a loud voice:
Worthy is the Lamb who was slain

to receive power and riches and wisdom,
and strength and honor and glory and blessing!’”
(Revelation 5:9-12)

Jesus Christ IS God and the Word of God …

“In the Beginning was the Word
and the Word was WITH God,
and the Word WAS God.

And the Word became flesh
and dwelt among us,
and we beheld His glory,
the glory as of the only begotten
of the Father …
full of grace and truth.

He was in the world,
the World was made through Him,
and the World did not know Him.

He came to His own,
and His own did not receive Him”
(Excerpted from John 1:1-14)

KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS!!!

“Now I saw Heaven opened,
And behold, a white horse.
And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True,
and in righteousness He judges and makes war.
His eyes were like a flame of fire,
and on His head were many crowns.
He had a Name written that no one knew except Himself.
He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood,
and His Name is called The Word of God.
And the armies in Heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean,
followed Him on white horses.
Now out of His mouth goes a sharp sword,
that with it He should strike the nations.
And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron.
He Himself treads the winepress
of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God.
And He has on His robe and on His thigh a Name written:
KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.”
(Revelation 19:11-16)

The Holy Spirit has spoken to us in prophecy as a true and faithful witness.

“For I am God,  and there is no other.
I am God,  and there is none like Me,
Declaring the End from the Beginning,
and from ancient times
things that are NOT yet done”
(Isaiah 46:9-10)
