Bible Prophecy

WARS

and

RUMORS OF WAR

“Jesus answered and said to them . . .
‘And you will hear of wars
and rumors of wars.'”

(Matthew 24:6)

Jesus Christ gives signs to watch for as we approach the coming Apocalypse

“Now as He (Jesus)
sat on the Mount of Olives (in Israel),
the disciples came to Him privately, saying,
‘Tell us, when will these things be?’
And ‘What will be the sign of Your coming,
and of the end of the Age?’”
(Matthew 24:3)

Nation vs. Nation … and “Ethnic” vs. “Ethnic”

“Jesus answered and said to them . . .
‘And you will hear of wars and rumors of wars.
See that you are not troubled;
for all these things must come to pass,
but the end is not yet.
(Still before the Rapture and the Apocalypse)
For nation (“ethnos”) will rise against nation (“ethnos”),
and kingdom (nation) against kingdom (nation) . . .
All these are the beginning of sorrows (‘birth pangs’)
(Matthew 24:6-7)

The original Greek word translated “nation” was “ethnos,” from which we get our word “ethnic.”

Jesus is warning we will see ethnic groups rise against ethnic groups as well as nations against nations.

The Bible also tells us believing Christians are “all ONE in Christ Jesus”

and there are NO ethnic, gender, race, or economic divisions

in the “body of Christ” (Messiah)

“There is neither Jew nor Greek (Gentile – any non-Jew),
(This covers ALL races on Earth)
there is neither slave nor free, (no economic divisions)
there is neither male nor female; (no gender divisions)
for you are all one in Christ Jesus.”
(Galatians 3:28)

The Bible warns Mankind will never stop war

No world leader, no anti-war group, and no religious group (or coalition of religions) will ever bring Global Peace. God warns there will be NO peace in Israel or in the world until Messiah, (Jesus Christ) returns …

Beware of any Peace Plans for Israel!!

“Because, even because
they have seduced My people (Israel),
saying, “Peace”,
and there was no peace…”
(Ezekiel 13:10)

“For they have healed the hurt
of the daughter of My people (Israel) slightly,
saying, ‘Peace, Peace;
when there is no peace!”
(Jeremiah 8:11)

“For you yourselves know perfectly
that the Day of the Lord
(the coming ‘Apocalypse’ and Armageddon)
so comes as a thief in the night.
For when they say, ‘Peace and safety!’
then sudden destruction comes upon them,
as labor pains upon a pregnant woman.
And they shall not escape.”
(1 Thessalonians 5:2-3)

The Great Tribulation

So, although the world has always had wars, ethnic violence and strife, Jesus Christ warns that as a sign we are entering into the last days we will see these increase in frequency and size. Described as “birth pangs,” these “pains” will continue to grow worse and worse, coming closer and closer together, as signs we are preparing to enter the Apocalypse.

Jesus Christ warns . . .

“For then there will be Great Tribulation,
such as has not been
since the beginning of the world until this time,
no, nor ever shall be (the coming “Apocalypse”).
And unless those days were shortened,
no flesh (human being) would be saved”
(Matthew 24:21-22)

Jesus warns that never in the history of Mankind has there ever been anything as terrible on Earth as the coming “Apocalypse”, the “Great Tribulation”, “The Day of (God’s) Wrath” – the Earth will be utterly destroyed and only a small remnant of the world’s population will survive.
