Many of us who were following the last Gulf War in Iraq closely were shocked when then President George Bush quickly released and then allowed Iran-backed Muqtada al-Sadr’s “Mahdi’s Army” safe passage back to Iran (after they had killed a number of AMERICAN troops, and just as American forces had them surrounded in order to return their sword upon their heads and eliminate them as a threat to Iraq).

Interesting Prophetic note: It appears this coming destruction of Damascus must happen sometime BEFORE the Russia-Iran-Turkey invasion of Israel because Syria (ancient Aram) is NOT listed among the coalition of nations which will invade Israel (and is not found among the nations sitting on the sidelines, such as Saudi Arabia and Kuwait).
The Bible does not specify “Who” or “What” will cause the coming utter destruction of Damascus, Syria …

“Hezbollah participated in the killing of the Syrian people in the worst ways, including sieges and starvation. All the free people and those oppressed by Iran and its militias have the right to rejoice today,” one wrote.
Syrians also welcomed the news that explosion-laden beepers killed dozens and injured thousands of Hezbollah terrorists.
