He would be born of a virgin

“Behold,
the virgin shall conceive
and bear a Son,
and shall call His name Immanuel”
(Immanuel literally means “God with us”)
(Isaiah 7:14)

He would be the Son of God

“For unto us a Child is born,
unto us a Son is given,
and His Name will be called Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.”

The Bible clearly describes 2 types of beings created by God … Mankind and Angels (Demons might be considered a third class).

Mankind was created to live on the Earth, whereas, the Bible tells us the Angels are not confined to Earth, but can roam the heavens.  We also know there is a war being fought (or will be fought) in Heaven and 1/3 of the angels who follow Satan will one day be cast down to Earth.

“Then war broke out in Heaven.
Michael and his angels fought against the Dragon (Satan),
and the Dragon and his angels fought back.
But he (Satan) was not strong enough,
and they lost their place in Heaven.”
(Revelation 12:7-10)

“And another sign appeared in Heaven:
behold, a great, fiery red dragon (Satan)
having seven heads and ten horns,
and seven diadems on his heads.
His tail drew a third
of the stars (angels) of Heaven
and threw them to the Earth.”
(Revelation 12:3-4)

“So the great dragon was cast out,
that Serpent of old,
called the Devil and Satan,
who deceives the whole world;
he was cast to the Earth,
and his angels were cast out with him.”
(Revelation 12:9)

Also, the Bible also tells us angels can appear to look human … very human.

“Do not forget to show hospitality to strangers,
for by doing so some have unwittingly entertained angels.”
(Hebrews 13:2)

Some Bible prophecy teachers have also speculated that after the Rapture, those who will be left on Earth might easily be deceived into believing that this group of believing Christians who were “eagerly awaiting” Christ’s return (also described as the “Bride of Christ”) and then just suddenly disappeared “In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye”, were forcibly removed by “space aliens” (doing earth-dwellers a favor) rather than having been caught-up to Heaven by God to escape the coming Apocalypse and Armageddon, as the Scriptures tell us will happen.  Prophecy: The coming Rapture … please don’t be left behind!!!

If Jesus Christ was born on September 29, 2 BC (per the link above) then the date on which the Light of the World actually entered into the World would be on the day of His Conception when the Holy Spirit conceived Him in the virgin Mary’s womb.

This would have been 280 days (40 Weeks) prior to September 29, 2 BC.

September 29, 2 BC minus 280 days  =  December 23, 3 BC.   (Add or Subtract Date Calendar Calculator )

December 23 was the Winter Solstice in 3 BC (http://www.cgsf.org/dbeattie/calendar/?roman=-2).

The Winter Solstice is the darkest day of the year.

So, the Light of God entered into the World on the Darkest Day (and longest night) of the Year.

In this article, the President of Israel is quoted as saying, “We put our faith in the Israeli Defense Forces (Army) and its capabilities …”

Study the book of Hosea.  God warned Israel (the powerful 10 northern tribes) that they were putting their faith in their Army (strong defense) and their strong Economy and NOT in the God of Israel.

Because of this, GOD Himself soon raised up an enemy to show Israel they should NEVER place their faith in a strong Army (Defense) or Economy.

Now, over 2,500 years later, Israel has never fully recovered from their tragic mistake of putting their “faith” in the Israeli Defense Forces and not in God.

And here we are seeing it again … exactly as the Bible warns we will see just before the coming Apocalypse and Armageddon.

–  Spreading disease (Pestilence)
–  Deceit (Lies mixed with some truth … just watch the news)
–  Ethnic against Ethnic
–  And then, Bible-believing Christians killed and hated.
