The Fourth Turning

The “Fourth Turning” (also called “Zeitgeist”) is an idea from a book by Strauss and Howe that tries to explain how history repeats itself in cycles, like the changing seasons, and how each generation experiences a different mood or “zeitgeist” (spirit of the times).

“Zeitgeist 2025” is a book written by Christian and Bible Prophecy author Tom Horn back in 2021 warning of this coming “Fourth Turning” and how its timing coincides with the coming “Apocalypse” and “Great Tribulation” (and perhaps the Asteroid Apophis).

Isaac Newton predicted the final one would take place sometime around year 2030 (“2060” in prophetic 360-day years).

– **Crisis (Winter):** There’s a big challenge (like a war or economic collapse). Society feels like it might break, but people work together to solve huge problems. Afterward, things change a lot, and a new “spring” begins.[6][1]

The “Zeitgeist” or Spirit of the Times

Each turning has a different feeling or “vibe” — this is what people mean by “zeitgeist.” For example, in a “High,” people feel hopeful and united, but during a “Crisis,” things feel tense and scary, and everyone has to work hard to fix big problems.

Why It Matters

The theory says that as kids grow up, the events and feelings of these times shape how they see the world, and as adults, they help create the next “season” of history. So, the choices people make, and how they feel, are part of a never-ending cycle.

In other words: History is like a big story that keeps repeating important chapters, and each generation has a special part to play.”
